  • Where Is Tanita?: Maths 4-5 Years

    Jan Morrow, Alan Marks

Paperback (Pearson Higher Education, June 24, 1991)
This series is based explicitly on National Curriculum programmes of study, attainment targets and assessment. The fact that there is one book per subject for each age range makes it easy for the parent to identify what they need to buy. There is an 8-page parents' pull-out section which gives explanations, advice and suggestions for extension activities and integral assessment procedures allow parents to identify and focus on their child's special needs. The approach aims to make learning enjoyable and fun. Although the series is based on the National Curriculum for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the content and approach would be appropriate for most English speaking areas.
